Our client is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to be responsible for the performance of mechanical & structural equipment in their material processing and chemical plants. 

 

You must be willing to:

·        Establish/improve site-wide Mechanical Integrity initiatives/define MI responsibilities for area                                  maintenance personnel

·        Coordinate site-wide PM program

·        Coordinate Reliability Technician program (thickness testing/alloy analysis/failure analysis/generation of            condition reports/fabrication quality assurance)

·        Identify/manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant operations

·        Participate in/conduct internal PSM Audits to verify processes

·        Implement a root cause failure analysis/corrective action process

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BSME/Engineering

·        5+ years maintenance/reliability engineering experience in PSM compliant plants (chemical/pulp &                          paper/refinery/related)

·        Experience with reliability improvement processes

·        Knowledge/technical expertise in the Mechanical Integrity portion of Process Safety Management

·        Familiar with OSHA/MSHA/RCA/ASME/CMMS/RCM
