Our client company is seeking an experienced safety engineer to oversee the PSM/RMP program.

 

You must be willing to:

·        Be responsible for all PSM/RMP elements/program requirements

·        Develop/track key PSM/RMP performance metrics

·        Conduct regulatory compliance audits in supports of PSM/RMP and RCMS programs

·        Coordinate/administer site MOC program

·        Develop understanding of Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA)

·        Participate in incident investigations

·        Interact with State and/or Federal regulators during site inspections

·        Lead/facilitate site PHA’s/PSSR’s

·        Develop recommendations resulting from PHA/Hazard reviews/PSSR’s

·        Assist EHS/Operations/Safety on new employee/periodic training

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BS Engineering

·        ASP or CSP certification preferred

·        3 - 7 years’ experience in chemical facility operations/maintenance or engineering/PSM

·        Proficient in all MS Office products

·        Familiar with MOC/Recommendations/PHA software

·        Working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910.119/40 CFR 68 (RMP) regulations/requirements
