Our client company is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with management potential to provide process and technical support to plant manufacturing personnel to produce film, polyolefins and polypropylene.

 

You must be willing to:

·        Provide daily support of safe/high quality/efficient operations

·        Develop process/quality improvement projects

·        Analyze/support capital upgrades

·        Analyze raw materials for quality issues/improvement opportunities

·        Ensure product testing meets customer requirements

·        Provide technical direction/support to improve manufacturing performance

·        Conduct new product development experiments

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BS Chemical/Mechanical Engineering

·        3-5 years prior engineering work with knowledge of extrusion in a manufacturing environment

·        Flexible Films process experience/application knowledge of packaging

·        Statistical Knowledge (SPC/Regression Analysis/ANOVA/DOE/ etc.)

·        Polymer science or polymer engineering training or experience.

·        Knowledge of extrusion/web handling/winding

·        Ability to solve real time manufacturing issues
