Our client company is seeking an experienced manager to be responsible for engineering projects from start to finish, providing light process engineering, submit capital paperwork to get the funding, manage construction and spending, and help start it up after completion.

 

You must be willing to:

·        Conceive/design/manage capital projects in multiple facilities

·        Coordinate with external engineering firms

·        Provide process engineering assistance to operations/maintenance at various plants

·        Develop capital budgets/project costs

·        Prepare budget spending forecasts

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BS in Chemical Engineering (PMP certification preferred)

·        8-10 years’ project management experience from $500k in size up to multi $MM in                                                          refinery/petrochemical/chemical plants

·        Familiarity with OSHA, PHA/Hazop procedures

·        Knowledge of fire/building codes/process equipment (plant piping/valves/pumps/rotating equipment)

·        Solid process troubleshooting skills

·        Excellent project scheduling/management skills
