Our client company is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to manage all projects as well as major retrofits and expansions from start to finish ensuring on time and within budget delivery.

 

You must be willing to:

·        Conceive/design/manage capital projects in multiple facilities

·        Coordinates with external engineering firms

·        Develop capital budgets/project costs

·        Prepare/submit funding requests for approval

·        Prepare/issue capital purchase orders

·        Obtain vendor/contractor quotes/prepare project specifications

·        Communicate status of projects with senior management

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

·        8 - 10 years’ project management experience in a refinery/petrochemical/chemical plant managing                          capital  projects at least $500k in size up to multi $MM

·        Understanding of fire/building codes

·        Familiarity with OSHA/PHA/Hazop procedures

·        Knowledgeable in specific types of process equipment/plant piping/valves/pumps/rotating equipment

·        Excellent project scheduling/management skills
