Our client company is seeking an experienced engineer with management potential to provide general mechanical engineering support to the operation and maintenance of their chemical manufacturing plant.

 

You must be willing to:

·        Lead mechanical reliability programs to achieve best in class efficiency of the process

·        Provide mechanical engineering expertise in the resolution of equipment failures/selection or evaluation            of plant equipment/the operation of rotating equipment

·        Perform root cause analysis to identify solutions to eliminate chronic equipment problems

·        Coordinate all aspects of capital projects to insure successful completion

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BS Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)

·        8+ years’ experience in a Chemical/Petrochemical/petroleum production or refining facility

·        Familiarity with all aspects of rotating/reciprocating equipment/vessel/piping systems

·        Experience with ASME/API standards/reliability best practices

·        Self-motivated/highly skilled/team player

·        Desire/patience to teach craftsmen

·        Excellent cost focus/desire for continuous improvement
