Our client company is seeking an experienced packaging engineer to aid in the design and implementation of packaging process and equipment strategies as part of a broad engineering and architectural team. 

 

You must be willing to:

·        Be the point of contact for client communications

·        Determine equipment sizing/specification/evaluation

·        Provide development/design and/or be responsible for construction documents

·        Provide final engineering review/seal of construction documents

·        Prepare ‘request for quote’ packages

·        Develop schedules for discipline related design/construction

·        Prepare Equipment Specifications/Purchase Documentation/Equipment/Facility Layout

·        Supervise installation/start-up of related systems, also contractor supervision/vendor management

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BS in Mechanical Engineering or Packing Engineering

·        Minimum 4+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing with Conveyance, Wrapping, Bagging,                        Cartoning, Filling, Bottling, Case Packing and Palletizing

·        Proficiency with MS Office, Project, AutoCAD
