Our client company, a manufacturer of powertrain products, is seeking an experienced engineer to provide support and direction in the development of standards and specifications pertaining to new equipment controls and ongoing improvement to existing controls.


You must be willing to:

·        Work with machining/general assembly processes/process electrical systems

·        Provide technical support for electrical/controls systems during the introduction of new equipment

·        Design/write advanced electrical controls programs

·        Be responsible for the development of training material/technical training of all Maintenance personnel               in PM of controls systems

·        Document equipment breakdown/activity in electronic database/provide reports

·        Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code/OSHA standards



·        BS or Associates in Electrical Engineering or Electronics (basic electrical/hydraulics/pneumatics                               preferred)

·        3 years of progressively more complex assembly/maintenance related manufacturing experience

·        Create/read/understand/modify electrical prints/specifications

·        Electrical controls engineering background preferred

·        Allen Bradley or OMRON PLC controls systems experience preferred
